It's a cool little movie.

A reporter and her cameraman are following two firefighters on a routine call when they all get trapped in an apartment complex with a bunch of zombie-like freaks who have nothing better to do than gnaw on the rest of the residents. And they're quarantined inside, so there's no escape.

That's the premise. Oh, and it's a found footage movie, so if you hate "shaky cam", then don't see this.

I've seen my share of found footage movies, and I went into this with little to no expectations. It didn't knock my socks off, but it was creepy, it made me jump, and despite the fact that none of the supporting characters are developed (although, you know they're going to be attacked by zombies, so who really cares anyway), the main lead (Manuela Velasco) is a cutie pie who also provides the right amount of drama and humor to have us care about whether she survives or not. The cameraman (Pablo Rosso) doesn't have many lines at all, but he's filming the damn movie, so there's no point in making him talk, because that'd just be annoying.

That said, there's a presence about him that gives Velasco's character the courage to move on, so he's good at being a foil.

So, yeah. It's scary, and it's solid. And I'm in love with the lead actress.
