A unique take on the traditional zombie-horror, packed with unanticipated thrills. The use of handheld camera is brilliantly frightening, and the movie in general is unavoidably gripping, certain to have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

The typical zombie cliches are apparent, but fortunately kept to a minimum. Unfortunately though, there is an irritating lack of character development. Rec. Is an entertaining, jumpy thrill ride, which is certainly one not to be missed by horror fanatics.
