Both Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield have redefined the new genre of the 21st Century which is the "found footage" genre. But Rec not only improves upon the genre but twists it in ways I never saw coming.
A truly realistic horror film where the shakiness adds onto the scare factor and the last 15 minutes were crazy. A great horror film!
