Review of [REC]² (2009) by Nica S — 29 Jul 2015

Surprisingly entertaining despite its (apparently) low budget, [Rec] may not have an elaborate plot line nor any development of characters but at least it does its most important job very well--to scare, even without the aid of flamboyant cinematography nor a lavish and detailed setting.

This is definitely a one-of-a-kind horror film--delightfully savage and thrillingly claustrophobic.
