This is the most perfect example of the lives of confused, desperate teenagers. This is a movie for teenagers and parents. It's a movie that teaches us the true meaning of having a good childhood and being a great parental figure.

"Rebel Without A Cause" portrays that example perfectly. Here we have a teenager named Jim who is the new kid in town. He seems to have a simple life, acting like the typical bad-boy who thinks he can get friends just by simply being a bad boy.

We also have a confused teen girl named Judy who seems desperate to get attention from her father. Next is the lonely Plato who has no parents and seems to have a bad start for life. All of these teens are connected by the way their parents have treated them, when all they want is a little more discipline and attention from their parents.

They sure as hell won't get it with them just buying their happiness for them. They want more then wealth, they want love, and that's all they want. Not only is this a lesson in life, but it is also a new technique of film-making.

The director Nicholas Ray shows us a style of filming by simply using more symbolic messages more than words to get more of a formalistic type of work. Countless classic moments in this brilliantly crafted film.

It's a movie that helps us understand the true strugglement of how teens just simply need to talk to their parents full-on other then just waste their lives away. It's a great thing James Dean was in this, because it still saddens me that he had to die.

He really convinced me that he really was this rebel named Jim who just wants to make friends, and act more like a parental figure, wishing that he could that someday. Stunning and just a great film.
