Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by ?Amanda? — 03 Sep 2008
This movie was rebellious! I have seen so many people arguing about how it isn't, but I guarantee you, you have never killed someone and had to run from the cops. james dean was a brilliant actor, he was so raw and powerful, and natalie wood is just fabulous.
this movie will endure throughout time, it isnt dated nor is it "lame and one dimensional" as one idiot on here said. to understand movie making and great acting you have to appreciate classics like this one, you cannot do that if you complain about all the things that let you down.
if you go to a movie expecting it to be a 10, it will never live up to your expectations because you are looking for ways for it to disappoint. go see this movie from a fresh perspective, you will enjoy yourself and be blown away.
