Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Taniel . — 12 Dec 2009
Watching this film will remind you what a great talent we lost in James Dean His performance is incredible, it's quirky and offbeat. This film serves as a great period piece for the 50s because it accurately portrays the rules of society back then and it's portrayal of teenaged personalities in the 50s.
I really liked the portrayal of the father's in this filml. One, who is afraid of his wife and lets her beat him down, and the other, who feels like he can't love his daughter because she is now a grown woman.
Rebel Without A Cause is a great 50s classic with a legendary performance by James Dean and can offer insight on the way the 50s really were.
