Review of Rebel Without a Cause (1955) by Adrian B — 09 Jun 2010
A very powerful film. Though it focuses mainly with the issues of teens in the 1950's, the emotional can still be felt today. This is both Wood and Deans' finest performances and the storyline is very strong, as well as the quality (colour).
Comparing it to the other films, it has obvious inspirations to scenes in both West Side Story (also starring Natalie Wood) and the Outsiders. Very good film.
