Review of Rear Window (1954) by Richard C — 09 Apr 2013
After North by Northwest and Psycho, this is easily Hitchcock's top film. A true example of a film that defiies the basics for genuine suspense, it also is helped not jst by its pitch-perfect direction but also from its fine cast who help elevate this picture to greatness even when there is no suspenseful sequences going on.
