Review of Rear Window (1954) by Les E — 26 May 2014
Great example of Hitchcock'd ability to ratchet up tension using a simple premise as a photographer, who has a broken leg, is bound to his two room apartment with little else to do but observe the neighbours and, perhaps, a heinous crime.
Great cast, well directed albeit a touch too long this still stands up very well and is often mimicked, rarely bettered.
