Review of Rear Window (1954) by Ken S — 02 Sep 2014
From the very beginning I was sucked into Alfred Hitchcock's film about a man with a broken leg becoming obsessed by his neighbors, and his belief that one of them has murdered his wife. There is something about the way it is all shot that just sucked me right into the storytelling and I immediately found that it might just be one of Hitchcock's best works.
Stewart is great, as is Kelly and most of the supporting cast, and Hitchcock's direction of always keeping his distance from the neighbors we are watching is top notch. Excellent thriller from the Master of Suspense.
