Review of Rear Window (1954) by Patrick M — 07 Oct 2012
Cinematic minimalism at its finest. Hitchcock draws you in to one location for the entire film, giving you both a chance to really know the characters and give you a claustrophobic feeling when the action kicks in.
It's an engaging mystery with great characters and performances, and a screenplay for the ages.
