Review of Reality Bites (1994) by Rosa K — 24 Jun 2008

I happened to come across this film because it made me interested in seeing the way the early to mid-nineties is depicted. I can recall a time when I saw this when it was a recent release out on VHS back in the day.

(The fact that I came across some music that I used to liisten to when I was a teenager made me want to go out and buy this film) Reality Bites is a quietsential film of the nineties that really actually does define the way people were if you traveled back to the early nineties.

(I think when looking back at those times, it is hard to believe that we had no cell phones, no I pods, no apple I phones. no digital cameras and camcoders, and no tv re runs and movies out on DVD..these are things that we now take for granted ) Back then people started using chatrooms, found out the various things that you can do while online, and thought that using e-mail was cool.
