Review of Reality Bites (1994) by Jared H — 16 Jan 2009
Reality; someting hard to distill. Some may call this indie hipster trash, but for me, Stiller and his youthful crew do a great job at developing the illusion, which is for so many of us, our reality. The contrast between Hawke and Stiller strikes a chord in those of us caught between the world of philosophical contemplation (sometimes called laziness) and the world of hard work and accomplishment (often refered to as the pointless persute of materialistic crap).
Plus a great soundtrack.
