Oh 1990s.. how I miss you. I'm nostalgic for your funny, smart coming of age films. I think my real attachment to this movie lies in my HS crushes on Winona and Janeane, and my hope one day I'd be as awesome as Ethan Hawke. HAHA. Anyhow, This movie still made me laugh, think and feel, so despite it being SO 1990s, it also hits on some timeless themes and struggles. In short, I like it.
