Review of Reality Bites (1994) by Alex T — 23 Nov 2011
I felt like this movie had a very strong opening. It caught my attention and kept me in the seat; although I felt it did fall flat on its face in the final moments. One redeeming qualities to this film is the great job done by all the cast, Winona Ryder, a documentarian fascinated by the lives of the lost immatures, Ethan Hawke, a renegade slacking off in the battle against main stream anti-sublime coolness, Ben Stiller the yuppie antagonist that just don?t get it.
With a great soundtrack and the vague line of hero/villain, this movie almost shows that reality really does bite,.
