Why don't I own this? I'll get to that eventually. All I have to say is that this movie holds a special place in me. Almost everything about it hits home; surprisingly enough, it's not just the whole "leaving home" deal.
In my experience, it was a first DECENT insight to what a majority of minority kids nowadays (especially cultures w/deep family ties) deal with.
