Review of Real Women Have Curves (2002) by Sherrel C — 15 Jun 2007
America Ferrera is radiant is this movie about family ties and the struggles of first-generation immigrants. There are flaws like the direction which seems inexperienced, but the merit of the story triumphs all.
Great overall performances of the ensemble, and definitely recommended for people who are looking for a transformaive coming-of-age movie.
