Review of Real Steel (2011) by Alex G — 24 Apr 2015
I never expected to enjoy this movie as much as I did, it turns out that this movie was criminally underrated. Its a genuine feel good movie with some solid performances from a very good cast. Both Dokota Goyo and Hugh Jackman were excellent in there stereotypical relationship between father and long lost son, instead of a difficult and cheesy display we were entertained by their charm and rapport.
The story is fresh too, set in future with a new kind of sport between robots. The movies melody was a little familiar but it was done well and is a highly addictive watch.
