One of the better 80's teen comedies, Real Genius never fails to delight in its own sense of humor. While it may fly under most people's radars, it is well worth a watch as it will undoubtedly leave you laughing for more.
Val Kilmer is great as a smarmy, know-it-all teenager and William Atherton always makes for a good bad guy. Always, uh, never check your references and you'll never look at popcorn the same way again.
