For a movie that centers on Easter eggs, it sure didn't disappoint! The CGI blends in spectacularly with the live-action, and even though the film is jam-packed with pop-culture Easter eggs, they managed to flawlessly incorporate them into the plot, making it a tasty treat for pop-culture nuts.
The live-action actors were really good, as well as their Avatars. The plot is really easy to understand even if you aren't a gamer and the Virtual Reality-world created for the film is truly breathtaking.
That final battle scene was spectacular and the the Gundam was awesome!
