Disappointing. Having read and enjoyed the book, I was really looking forward to seeing the film. However, the film felt rushed, and failed to develop the characters to the extent that you really cared what happened to them.
The plot was changed quite substantially too, cf the book, which to some extent is unavoidable, but in this case there were so many 'wtf?' moments where I wondered what the rationale was behind the change, it just became annoying.
Would I see the film again? No. But I'd read the book again.
