Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Patrick N — 08 Apr 2018

Eh. It was Ok, nice, entertaining. But....flat. The characters were totally 2D and the story was full of holes but worse....left me feeling...nothing. The main character cries at the end and for the life of me....I have no idea why. The moral of the story was so non-existent throughout the course of the film, that it needed to be spoon fed to us by the narrator at the end. I think it's time for Speilberg to retire or at least....spend some more time on his next "blockbuster" project.

When we saw that it was playing in probably the smallest theater in the entire cinema, we were surprised (especially that it's only in its 2nd week). But when it was over....I wasn't surprised anymore.
