Steve Spielberg back to doing what he does best - take a very simple story (kids racing against time to solve clues and find a prize before the bad guy beats them to it) and makes it a visually stunning roller-coaster.
It suffers from lack of character development and would benefit from more explanation of why the world is in such a poor state. But it's a fun ride for film fans and gamers of all ages, and you don't have to recognise all the cult references to enjoy it.
Definitely worth seeing on the big screen or IMAX if possible. Great fun.
