Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Chipper B — 13 Apr 2018
Very fun movie to watch. Very well directed. The crossover of the 80's and the future paired with the crossover of reality and virtual reality, made for a rollercoaster that only Spielberg could pull of with such finesse.
That being said, the lack of character depth left a lot to be desired. Wade Watts truly is just a poorly written protagonist. No 2 ways around it.
