The nostalgia factor alone makes this worth seeing. For me, there was just way too much time spent in the Oasis, and I'm not a huge fan of films that are almost entirely CGI. I thought the young actors did a great job, and the overall idea and execution of the film were great.
It's also just really fun and makes you wish something like that really existed - minus the whole poverty, living int he slums, over-population stuff.
