Review of Ready Player One (2018) by David S — 10 May 2018
I had high-hopes given Stephen Spielberg's name attached to this but then I realized that he wasn't the director . . . The movie changed so many critical elements that were in the book and painted over the whole thing with the usual "hollywood formula".
It was less unapologetically nostalgic, though, which was an improvement on the book.
