If you watch it as a stand alone movie it's pretty decent. If you were a fan of the book it's almost as disappointing as what Hollywood did to the Eragon movie. The only thing that remotely follows the book is that the main character found the key first and got ritch because of it.
They immediately deviate from the storyline and at 40 minutes in I gave up hope on them getting back on course. Everyone always says the book is better than the movie, and they are usually right in variations.
In this case the book is 1000 times better.
