Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Devo-Nc — 29 Mar 2018
This is a kid's imagination wet dream gone wild. You want to sit there and immerse yourself. It grabs you and thrusts you from visceral frame by frame. Spielberg goes yeah I can make this movie. So much heart that we don't get in movies anymore.
The last time I felt this entranced by cinema was Zootopia. You feel enriched by an experience that has so much life. This warrants a few more viewings. Ready Player Two should be on the books. This is why we go to the cinema.
Spielberg's best of the century for me.
