Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Ledaumas — 28 Mar 2018

For the first 20 minutes, I thought I would not be able to enjoy or understand this movie and that it was a movie for young people who like video games, like our grandchildern. But I was wrong. As senior citizens, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the premise very much along with the references from the late 70’s to 80’s, which we lived through.

I can see how a society who’s depressed and discouraged would use a fantasy world to escape from reality. Yes, this film is why we go to the movies.
