Review of Ready Player One (2018) by K Nife C — 14 Apr 2018

A bit longer than it needed to be, but I thought that Ready Player One was largely a return to escapist form for the legendary director. RP1 manages to create interesting characters and capture a real sense of great fun.

Ironically I think that the projected technology on display in this fictitious version of 2045 probably does not go far enough. With the exponential rate at which computing power increases I think actual simulations 27 years from now will likely have long since left behind the cartoonish renditions on display here.
