Spielberg makes a fun adventure movie though it still pales in comparison to a Spielberg classic. From beginning to end you get immersed in this world and you can't help but have a blast. What keeps it from being great is the characters never captivate the emotion that you would hope for.
Overall a Ready Player One is lots of fun and will fit somewhere in the middle of your Spielberg collection. High 7 B+.
