Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Brogan R — 11 Jul 2018

As a major fan of the book I was pretty disappointed in this movie. Given the length of the movie I expected more than simply dropping into the first challenge so early on (because it was so different to the novel it actually took me a while to realise that the first challenge *was* the first challenge.

I also think that since the premise of the book is that Halliday presumably wanted a school pupil to win the context to exclude the fact that Wade and the rest of his friends were school pupils was a mistake.

That being said, if you've never read the novel I'm sure the film could be up there for a lot of viewers but for me it lacked A LOT and was majorly underwhelming.
