Review of Ready Player One (2018) by Ben B — 13 May 2018

The first time I watched Ready Player One I was delighted by the nice visuals and references. However the second time I watched it I really didn't notice anything new and all the Easter Eggs I had noticed seemed to be the only ones I noticed the second time round so it wasn't exciting watching it again and I felt like Spielberg could of added some more Easter eggs even if there were like Mario being a background character like Sonic was in Wreck It Ralph so if you're expecting to see lots more Easter eggs the second time round you may be disappointed , but if you didn't look out for Easter Eggs and references the first time round, the second watch will be a lot more fun.

Also the ending could of been massively improved as it was only a short narrative telling you what happened to the Oasis. This may look like I hated Ready Player One but I didn't, I thought it was amazing and had impressive CGI, however I was disappointed that I didn't see any extra references/Easter Eggs the second time I watched it so unless you didn't look out for the references the first time round, Ready Player One might be a one time watch but if you forget the Easter eggs from Ready Player One, watch again!
