Review of Ready or Not (2019) by Joecool — 24 Nov 2019

The movie was somewhat entertaining. I was sorta engaged most of the time, though the story contains so many holes that it's hard to reallly enjoy this movie. The bride is incredibly skillful at avoiding the family killers without any context as to where she acquired these skills.

Put someone under enough stress and they'll miraculously acquire top skills in no time at all. Several things made little to no sense when you start to think about them. Many things just happen out of shear stupidity.

The acting wasn't really bad, but the plot could have used quite a bit more work, unless it's just too thin to make something worth seeing from that at all. Too much meh, I should have watched something else.
