Jacques Audiard plays well with mystery and suspense. Read my lips looks like a Hitchcock suspense, but it was a bit too slow.
Nonetheless, Audiard's thrillers are always intriguing and well directed.
What I also like of Audiard's movies are the actors who play the leading roles. (Duris performance in [i]The beat that my heart skipped[/i] was extremely intense). It's the same In [i]Read my lips[/i], Vincent Cassel and Emmanuelle Devos are both excellent !
