Review of Razorback (1984) by Jason D — 26 Nov 2008
Terrific nature run-amok horror film set in the desolate and dreary Australian outback and revolving around a two men; one of which was wrongfully accused of murdering his grandson and the other who is searching for his missing wife.
Both of them come to realize that they have lost their loved ones to an abnormally sized and very vicious Razorback. Soon, both men become pitted against this hungry beast in a cat and mouse game. Intense and sometimes creepy little film that is almost worthy enough to rival the original nature amok film, Jaws.
Bill Kerr is terrific as a hunter hellbent on having his revenge on the same boar that killed his grandson. Terrific movie that REALLY needs to be put out on DVD here in the states. I love it!
