With clear initial messages for kids and artistic draws to The Republic and government application in man; Raya and the last dragon holds up to critically. Furthermore, it looks and sounds wonderful! I actually found the jokes funny and charming.
It also takes risks, forcing the audience to forgive one of the characters which really worked for me.
