Even though it was a long movie, and it seems like the filmmakers wanted to condense it for time, I still think they shouldn't have condensed the scenes at the beginning so much. It focused a lot on the music.
It would have been nice to see more of Ray Charles outside the music but it was still very good I thought. It gets a bit more from me on emotional impact.
