Review of Ray (2003) by Larry C — 23 Apr 2012
This film set the standard for which all musical biography must follow. Even though Jamie Foxx was dubbed in this, and Phoenix did his own singing in "Walk The Line" Ray seems more authentic.
This film, as most films do, took some creative licenses with facts, but still it presented a great portrait of the man, which is what a film generally does.
I think this film is true art.
