Review of Raw Deal (1986) by Scott O — 11 Dec 2007

I used to really like action movies as a teenager. As an adult, I find that without some sort of story that makes me care about the protagonists, guns and explosions alone can't drive a movie for me.

Kathryn Harrold is a bright spot as a sassy doll who plays sort of a love interest for Ah-nuld. Pity she doesn't get her kit off. ;) Someone really should have gone over the script and rewritten it for, say, credible motivations.

The dialogue could have used some work as well, beyond the obvious one-liner deadpans from Ah-nuld.
