Review of Raw (2017) by Destiny M — 26 Nov 2017
It isn't as gory as people made it out to be... for me, there was only one, maybe two scenes that made me a bit queezy. It takes an interesting twist, and I'm impressed that it didn't depend on it's gore factor to make it a horror movie like most modern day horror films do.
I loved the characters, though they could have done better in building the relationship between Justine and her sister, and could've done better on her character development. The ending was a great plot twist and brought it all together, and all in all it was a truly good horror movie.
It's funny, I'm not big on cannibal movies or so many gory movies in general, but this is all time my favorite. 10/10 would recommend to any horror lover.
