Review of Ratchet & Clank (2016) by Epicladysponge — 28 Apr 2016
Wow, this will be hated by critics and will be loved by users. Before you flame my opinion, first of all I used to remember putting "I hope the movie can be as great as the video game" in the game's review, but then I checked on the last day before its release that it's also.
.. comedy. Well, that had to blew everything. Plus, I couldn't respect James Arnold Taylor as an actor other than Ratchet, Obi-Wan Kenobi and other stuff he does best except Johnny Test because of it. Why does almost every animation needs to be a comedy? I mean look at The Incredibles.
That isn't comedy, it's an animated film though, and it's one of my favorites. RIP - Was planning to give it an 8, but then critics are giving it negative reviews and then I realized it was a comedy the entire time.
I guess that's what happens when you make a great video game adaptation idea to a terrible result. Sorry, fans of the franchise and my favorite two PlayStation buddies, but you're more suitable to your own games than movies.
