As a fan of the series I found this movie insulting, pointless, and lazy. It was handled so poorly by sony. Seriously, just play the game is the same only somehow way better. Im not dissapointed though.
In order to get dissapointed you need to have expectations. I knew it was going to be crap, and this expectation got cemented after I saw the studio behind it.
