Review of Ratchet & Clank (2016) by Ryytikki — 17 May 2016

Overall this movie fell a bit flat. The humour was pretty good and the game references were outstanding but the plot just didn't meet the quality I expected from an Insomniac-related product. The lip syncing was distractingly bad in places, something that really shouldn't be an issue in modern movies.

Having Dr Nefarious appear as an alien instead of a robot was a great idea though, he was incredibly well animated with amazing facial expressions and it gave him a bit more of a backstory than "robot wants to make everyone robots" that you get in the games.

I just spent most of the movie sat there waiting for the suspense/tension to kick in and it was never there.
