Review of Ratatouille (2007) by Darren C — 05 Feb 2013
Pixar's animation is still top notch. Even though other studios have caught them from a movie point of view, there is still a certain something that Pixar movies have that Dreamworks and others don't.
A feel if you will. Ratatouille still has it and I feel this is a fun movie. However I will also say that this is probably my least favourite amongst the Pixar flicks (in a tie with "A Bugs Life").
It's just not as compelling to me as the others, but there were some great laugh out loud moments and I did catch some references to classic Looney Tunes and possibly a tip of the hat (weirdly) to "When Harry Met Sally".
A wonderful film, but not quite up there with Nemo and Toy Story.
