Review of Ratatouille (2007) by Vinicius B — 11 Feb 2013
As far as animation goes this movie is a masterpiece. As far as films in general go; still a masterpiece. Brad Bird is an unbelievable director who has fantastic comedic timing and knows how to pull at your heart.
It captures Paris, France and the feelings of satisfaction we all get when we eat exactly what we are craving, and in that same way I was craving for a mature and artistic animated feature that is still grounded in its youth.
Pixar has outdone themselves yet again. And Brad Bird has my utmost respect as a true autuer in animation and storytelling. Do your goddamned soul a favor and go see it.
