Review of Ratatouille (2007) by Campbell P — 10 Jan 2015
After watching Ratatouille recently it got a lot better. I really liked it as a kid and I love it even more now. This movie is so creative and clever! A rat that loves to cook and us inspired by a famous chef of a former 5 star restaurant and helps out Linguini become the best chef in Paris.
The characters are really likable and relatable. I love how pretty much every character gets a background story even if they're a small part of the movie! Remy above all is inspirational, he shows that no matter what your appearance is you can still be what you want to be.
I was delighted with this story and just fascinates me every time I watch it. Anton Ego's monologue is touching and inspirational and really captures the theme of the movie in one amazing speech. The way that food motivated people to become the best of their own abilities was very cool.
Ratatouille is inspirational, funny, and feel good. A.
