Review of Rat Race (2001) by Robert H — 17 Jan 2010
Very underrated. Cuba is great in a comedic role, Lovitz is his scheming self, Cleese is his wacky self, Seth Green is always great playing an amoral character, and newcomer Vince Vieluf had an Oscar-worthy supporting role.
Too bad he hasn't done anything worthwhile since. Meyer and Smart are great together and help ground the movie some. Awesome cameo by Kathy Bates. Life lesson learned - when coming across a wacky lady, always buy a squirrel.
