Review of Rasputin: The Mad Monk (1966) by Shane P — 28 Sep 2008
Long before Christopher Lee was Sauron, he was Rasputin, the Mad Monk. Not too long before that, he made a name for himself as Dracula for the same production company, Hammer Studios. While Christopher Lee is fun to watch, the film itself does not really go anywhere.
Historical accuracy is also a little lacking, but that could be forgiven if the story was stronger.
